Celebrate the Vernal Equinox with a special yoga practice lead by Alison Krywucki and Rebecca DiMidio. Embrace the new season with a half mala (54) sun salutations, candle-gazing meditation and the deep relaxation of Yoga Nidra.

Sun Salutations are the traditional way of welcoming in the new day, hence the name! During the Equinox we dive into this solar practice to celebrate the  season of the sun and the shift to longer days. Candle-gazing meditation is a purifying practice that embraces Equinox themes involving cleansing and renewing. The meditation is completely guided and perfect for all levels of meditators. Lastly, Yoga Nidra, or the “divine sleep,” is a extended guided relaxation. It is practiced lying down and often with props to ensure a completely comfortable rest.

The Spring Equinox represents a time of rebirth and new beginnings, making it a great time to explore a balance of energy, grounding and a little stillness as the season shifts.

Class is heated to about 85°
